Project deliverables

Final list of product requirements. The final list of product requirements will be organized in two main groups: simple thermal insulation products that may be used in combination to achieve requirements and complex products that also to contribute to the achievement of other requirements (fire resistant, lightweight, payback time, cost...). Sets of product requirements will be validated in a specialized workshop providing final feedback to confirm the delivered list (task 2.4).

Product design baseline report. Based on the product requirement inputs database and national regulations this product requirements baseline will be obtained. Certain product characteristics will also have to fulfil requirements related to whole building performance. This deliverable will support the Product Requirements Tool to assess products performance at building level (task 2.3). It will incorporate description of relevant reference buildings or building stock segments to analyse how specific insulation products will perform.

Use case buildings baseline, BIM modelling and monitoring plan. In the design and pre-construction stages, BIM simulation method will be reported to assess and improve the performances of buildings. According to building global situation and use, the best green building designs will be described as results of task 6.1. A monitoring plan for each use case will be disclosed, with definition of KPIs, scope and boundaries of metering system, precision and reliability, responsibilities of data gathering, timing.

Circular strategies for new construction materials. An eco-design approach will be delivered from task 7.1, developing more circular material/products, and providing strategies and solutions to enhance building circularity and sustainability within a life cycle approach.
