EASI ZERo marks final six months - from innovation to market
On the 18-19 November 2025, the EASI ZERo consortium gathered in Paris to mark three years of innovation and the start of the final six months of the project.
Partner Elithis Oteis hosted the meeting for all 16 partners from 7 European countries. Together, partners aligned on the path to deliver an inclusive, easy‑to‑install building envelope system for energy renovation with a low environmental impact — built from bio‑based and recycled materials.
With Paris glowing in Christmas lights, the focus was firmly on a different kind of illumination: how to move from lab breakthroughs to market‑ready solutions.
Key topics from the General Assembly
- Validation at scale: testing, simulation and data analysis to confirm product performance
- Proof and transparency: life cycle assessment (LCA) and environmental product declarations (EPD) to quantify impact
- Benchmarking: comparing innovations to commercial references
- From innovation to market: practical routes to industrialisation, certification and go‑to‑market
- Dissemination and engagement: stepping up communication of results to reach stakeholders across the value chain
What’s next?
As we enter the home stretch, several products are showing promising results — with some approaching market readiness. In the coming months, we will host stakeholder workshops — both online and in‑person — to share results, lessons learned and discuss pathways to adoption.
